Textual Criticism of the Hebrew Bible
The book does not devote equal attention to all of these sources. Those which are of greatest importance for the investigation of the biblical text, that is and the texts from Judean Desert, are treated more fully, while less attention is given to sources such as the Aramaic Targumim, the Syriac translations, and the Vulgate, which, on, account of their closeness to, are of less importance for textual criticism.
